If you were born in the 1970’s there was likely no bigger real life super hero than Evel Knievel.
To me one of the most iconic toys to ever come out of the 1970’s was the Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle.
The stunt cycle was built similar to many of the rip cord motorcycle toys of the day, except instead of using a rip cord, the cycle came with a launching station and a crank that you tuned until the cycle launched off of the platform.
I never personally owned the Evel Knievel stunt cycle, but my cousin and my neighborhood friend did, but I sure did play for hours with theirs when I could.
